MyScholarMatch is an AI-powered platform that helps African students find fully funded scholarships and university programs abroad. Operated by YouInc Global.

2. What data we collect and why
2.1 Account information
Name, email, password hash. Google OAuth: name and email from Google.
Why: To create and manage your account.
2.2 Academic and personal profile
Country of origin, education level, grades (WAEC/NECO/KCSE/transcripts), field of study, preferred destinations, career goals, language test scores.
Why: To power our AI matching engine.
2.3 Documents you upload
Academic certificates, transcripts, CVs sent to Claude API for analysis. Not stored permanently after processing.
Why: To provide grade analysis.
2.4 Usage data
Feature usage, AI interactions, match history, saved scholarships, credit transactions.
Why: To improve the platform and personalise your experience.
2.5 Payment data
Processed by Paystack. We do not store card details.
Why: To add credits after payment.
2.6 Communications
Emails you send us.
3. How we use your data
- Match you with scholarships and universities using AI

4. AI processing
Our service uses Anthropic's Claude API. Your profile data is sent to Claude to generate matches and documents. Anthropic is our data processor. anthropic.com/privacy

8. Cookies

Service for ages 16+. Contact us to delete accounts of under-16s.
10. Security
HTTPS, encrypted passwords, row-level database security, rate limiting.
